Easy Peach Cobbler

Let's go to Georgia. Home of the sweetest, ripest peaches in the United States. I mean, who doesn't love peaches? I know I do, and I especially love peach cobbler. One of my fondest childhood memories would be my Grandma and I going to peach orchards in Vermont and picking big, juicy peaches, then baking crisps out of them. I wanted to relive this memory, but I was feeling really exhausted this Friday, and I was in no mood to write a blog assignment, and let alone cook. I really wanted to something that didn't take a ton of effort, but still tasted good. This cobbler is perfect for both of those requests. I even served mine with a side of homemade whipped cream.

Here is what you will need:

2 cups of drained canned peaches
1 can of Pillsbury Grand Biscuits
1/4 cup of water
1/2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of butter
1/4 cup of sugar and a tablespoon of cinnamon

All ingredients needed

First, you are going to want to preheat your oven to about 350°F.

Next, you are going to take the peaches, sugar and water in a saucepan over medium high heat.

Bring to a boil, and then turn down heat to low, and let simmer for ten minutes

Next, pour a 1/4 cup of melter butter into a pyrex pan and swirl to coat. Slightly drain your peaches, and then empty them out on top of the butter.
Place all of the biscuits evenly on the peaches

Now put all of the Grands Biscuits over your peaches.

Overlap some biscuits

Brush the biscuits with the remaining 1/4 cup of butter.

Braise each biscuit with a large amount of butter

Coat all of the biscuits evenly with your cinnamon sugar.

Now bake for about 25 to 30 minutes or until your biscuits have puffed up and the cinnamon is golden brown.

Take out and let cool. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream. Enjoy!
